1) What is most appealing to your learning style and your personality, from the critical thinking page?
The verbs that stood out to me under the Critical Thinking page are: analyze and connect. In Spanish, I make sense of new language by "recognizing patterns and categorization." Linking new words to past words or to images in my mind or to experiences, is a huge part of remembering those words for later use. I also make sense of new cultures by relating them to others that I know (i.e. my own), and by connecting in my mind a place's history, language, current events and relations to other countries.

2) Open a new tab in your browser and find an image that visually describes your leaning style and put it on this page. *Keep in mind these pages are public so copyright is an issue, here is one source for legal to use images.

3) How do you plan to incorporate parts of critical thinking that you are unfamiliar with into your lesson planning?
I will begin incorporating parts of critical thinking that I am unfamiliar with by making them key components in the options for the projects that students create for each unit.

4) What advice would you give to other teachers to help them to become familiar with difficult concepts?
Google them. Chances are there is lots of information that people have put together on the web about those concepts. Search them in education blogs. Search them in the catalogs of your favorite old fashioned library.

5) What must a computer application do in order for it to be considered a "mindtool"?
It must allow for creativity, serving as a vehicle for students to make sense of their ideas.
